| The Virtual Classroom allows for real time interaction between the instructor and the students. It allows for students and instructors to communicate with each other, and offers a forum for answers and questions. An archive of the chats is saved for those who weren't able to participate. Since the interaction is in real-time (synchronous), all the participants must connect at the same time. |
